Training Sessions

We offer a range of social media training sessions on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and blogging, which will take place in our meeting room in St Mary’s Chambers on a regular basis. We tailor the training to different levels of ability, from the basics of how to set up an account and promote it, to how to effectively use it at an intermediate level, right through to facebook apps and landing pages. Each training session is just one hour, and refreshments are included.

Dates of the sessions will follow together with brief details of what will be covered.

Group sessions will consist of no more than 6 at a time and cost just £15 + VAT per person.

Individual sessions can be arranged on any area of social media at a cost of just £35 + VAT per person.

These mini training courses will work at the group or individual’s pace and are designed to help you get the most from social media one step at a time.

Does your business already have a Facebook profile? Having a profile (rather than a page) for a business goes against Facebook’s terms. Fear not, ISSL will convert these to pages for you free of charge.

  • Blogging - this service is specific to each industry and allows a company to communicate with users using informative posts about anything, from the latest products to company updates. We can write for your own website, or for a blogging service such as Blogger or Wordpress.
  • Foursquare - Foursquare is a service that allows members note their locations with a mobile phone and find out where friends are. This is ideal if you have a physical shop because it creates awareness within social groups, as well as allowing you to do special things such as offer 5% off to people who check in whilst in your shop.
